INDUSTRIES WE SERVE: CHEMICAL

Chemical Processing

Sanitary Stainless Steel Tanks, Kettles & Process Vessels

EIC Tanks designs and manufactures custom stainless steel tanks, kettles, and process vessels for the chemical processing industry, engineered for durability, process reliability, and long-term operational performance.

Our equipment supports industrial and specialty chemical manufacturing environments where material compatibility, temperature control, agitation performance, and safe operation are critical. We work directly with chemical manufacturers, process engineers, and plant operations teams to deliver vessels designed for demanding process conditions and seamless integration into new and existing facilities.

CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS

EIC Tanks supplies process equipment engineered to support a wide range of chemical manufacturing and processing applications, including:

 • Specialty and fine chemicals

 • Polymers and resins

 • Adhesives and sealants

 • Coatings, paints, and inks

 • Surfactants and detergents

 • Lubricants and oils

 • Agricultural and industrial chemicals

 • Chemical intermediates and solutions

Each application is reviewed during engineering to ensure appropriate material selection, agitation method, heat transfer capability, pressure or vacuum requirements, and safe operability, aligned with process and regulatory expectations.

CHEMICAL TANK & VESSEL STYLES

EIC Tanks manufactures custom process vessels designed for efficient chemical processing workflows and industrial operating environments.

Chemical Mixing & Process Tanks

Process tanks designed for blending, reaction, heating, cooling, and batch processing of liquid and slurry chemical products.

Chemical Processing Kettles

Jacketed kettles engineered for controlled heating, cooling, and reaction processes, including viscous or temperature-sensitive chemical formulations.

Storage & Holding Tanks

Chemical storage tanks designed for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, with options for atmospheric, pressure, or vacuum service.

MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION

Kettles may be designed as open-top, loosely covered, or fully sealed vessels. Sealed kettles can be engineered to operate under pressure or vacuum, depending on process requirements.

Heating, Cooling & Thermal Control

Chemical vessels may be equipped with dimple jackets, channel wall jackets, or half-pipe jackets to support controlled heating and cooling using:

• Steam

• Hot oil

• Hot water

• Chilled water

• Glycol

Temperature control systems regulate jacket flow to maintain stable and repeatable process conditions. PLC-based controls can be incorporated for advanced temperature profiling

Open, Sealed & Pressure-Rated Vessels

Chemical vessels may be designed as open-top, sealed, or pressure-rated systems. Designs can accommodate pressure, vacuum, or inert gas blanketing, depending on process and safety requirements.

DISCHARGE & PRODUCT HANDLING OPERATIONS

Chemical vessels can be configured with bottom discharge, flush valves, side outlets, or tilt-dump designs, depending on viscosity, solids content, and downstream handling requirements. Each discharge configuration is engineered to support safe operation and efficient product transfer.

Controls, Automation & Documentation

EIC Tanks can design and supply custom control panels and touchscreen HMI systems to monitor and control temperature, agitation speed, pressure, and batch timing. Systems may integrate with existing plant automation platforms. Documentation packages may include:

 • Material certifications

 • Weld records

 • Pressure or leak testing records

 • As-built drawings

 • PE-stamped drawings (where required)
